Visits
One of Brittany's most renowned seaside resorts, Quiberon's exceptional geographical location offers a wide variety of landscapes and experiences.
must-see places
Connected to the mainland by a simple stretch of sand, Quiberon is a destination that will delight the whole family. Come for a holiday of beaches, relaxation, wild nature, arts and Breton heritage!
THE CHARM OF PORT-HALIGUEN
Perfectly located at the entrance of the bay and only a short distance from the islands, the port has held onto its charm of long ago. With its 1,200 berths dedicated to yachting, fishing and sea expeditions, as well as its emblematic lighthouse and its keeper's house now hosting art exhibitions, it is an ideal starting point for discovering the centre of Quiberon and all its shops – less than 10 minutes' walk from Sauvage.
THE POINTE DU CONGUEL PANORAMA
At the southern end of the peninsula, the small Pointe du Conguel is marked by an orientation table and large stone slabs – the remains of large kilns where seaweed was once burned to fire the soda-ash works. Above all, it offers an exceptional view of the offshore islands, incredible sunrises and Teignouse lighthouse – highlighting the separation between the bay and the ocean. It feels like the end of the world.
THE TREASURES OF QUIBERON
Facing the Atlantic Ocean, Quiberon enjoys an exceptional location and microclimate. Enjoy its large beach, indulge yourself with a moment of relaxation in a mineral bath or have some excitement at the casino. Opt for some shopping in the many boutiques in the town centre and discover local specialities in the form of ice cream, beer, biscuits or tinned fish. With all the savoury delights and sweet treats, there is something for everyone!
